What sorcery is this?
Discord is a program that is like Teamspeak, Skype, IRC (text) chat and Steam (without the selling of games) combined. I recommend using both Discord and Teamspeak. Discord is more versatile but TS still has the best audio.
I have made a Discord server for anyone who is interested in World of Tanks platooning. It is primarily for players on PC and on the EU server but others are also welcome. After reading the "additional information"-text you can join the discord server by clicking the connect button or the link further down the page.
Additional information
- On the server you must use your WoT username. (Discord allows for different nicknames then your main Discord username on different servers.)
- You can have an overlay in WoT: User settings --> Overlay --> Enable. Also choose key. Then go to Games and activate overlay for WoT there also.
- Don't use the webb-application but install the proper Discord PC program instead.
- Get the mobile app though. It's great!
- You can customize how many "pings" you get from discord easily. Meaning you can fully control how much you want it to disturb you when other write etc.
- Read the #rules section on help with some of the above but also other tips and tricks.
- Link to the discord server: https://discord.gg/GCy63Ck
