Some hardware tips from meNote: Most of the gear listed here is out of date by now unfortunately. Some of them have been replaced by newer versions.
Headset: Plantronics Gamecom 380 http://www.plantronics.com/us/product/gamecom-380#fndtn-overview OK sound. Very good microphone. You will never find a more comfortable headset (if you dont have elephant ears that is :-P ). Looks pro! :-) The 388 version can be easier to find though. Both of these are not produced anymore. There is a new headset called the "RIG" from the same brand that looks good but I haven't tried it myself: http://www.plantronics.com/us/product/rig-500e?skuId=sku7100018 Mouse: Steelseries Kinzu V3 https://steelseries.com/gaming-mice/ (just the homepage) Not produced anymore but can be found in some stores. Cheap, simple, good quality...simply kick ass! Mousepad: fUnc sUrface 1030 Hard as nails...slippery as...well...you know :-P The original version as well as the newer version ("fUnc sUrface 1030 R2") are both unfortunately impossible to find these days. Func industries was however bought by Fnatic gaming gear and they have a product which I think can be similar (hard plastic mousepad): https://shop.fnatic.com/products/boost-control-pro-gaming-hard-mouse-pad Keyboard: CM Storm Quickfire Rapid http://www.coolermaster.com/peripheral/keyboards/quickfirerapid/ This mechanical keyboard is built like a tank! Compact design. Good for typing also, not only gaming. Reasonable price. |
